Some believe he will spearhead the next generation of MMA heavyweights. Aspinall is looking to prove his supporters right, and he feels a showdown with Gane is a good step in that direction. Gane won the fight in the second round via TKO. One fighter who was paying attention to the action was Aspinall, who has called for a fight against “Bon Gamin.” The former interim UFC heavyweight titleholder has responded.

Welcoming the former middleweight champion to light-heavyweight, Jan Blachowicz used his wrestling for a strong first round. However, ‘Poatan’ came from behind to score a unanimous decision win. Although, several fans and pundits believed that the longtime light-heavyweight deserved the nod that night.

UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall claims he will be working with Tyson Fury ahead of a boxing match with Francis Ngannou. Fury and Ngannou are set to collide in a pro boxing match on October 28. The bout will be held in Saudi Arabia. “The Predator” is already working with Mike Tyson ahead of the fight. As for Aspinall, he’ll actually be giving “The Gypsy King” a helping hand.

Tom Aspinall has taken over the No. 4 spot in the official UFC Heavyweight Rankings. It was just this past Saturday, July 22nd, that Tom Aspinall (13-3 MMA) defeated Marcin Tybura (24-8 MMA) in the heavyweight main event. In front of a hometown crowd at the O2 Arena in London, England, Aspinall KO’d Tybura at 1:13 of Round 1.

Aspinall entered the fight coming off a year away after tearing his MCL just seconds into his fight against Curtis Blaydes last July.
