Heading into the fight, Paul is a -260 favorite while the former UFC champion is a +210 underdog. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro fighters to get their prediction for the boxing match. The majority believe Woodley can get it done as long as he throws more punches although some think Paul is just the better boxer.

Jake Paul has made it clear there is nothing in the contracts saying his opponent can’t knock him out. Back in August, Tyron Woodley rocked Paul badly but didn’t throw anything of substance after that to finish the job. To no surprise, after the fight, Dillon Danis claimed Woodley had a no knockout rule in his contract which Paul says is not true. Instead, he offered Woodley a $500k bonus if he does knock him out in their rematch on December 18.

Jake Paul has opened as the betting favorite over Tyron Woodley. Paul was originally supposed to box Tommy Fury in the main event of the Showtime boxing pay-per-view on December 18 in Tampa, Florida. Unfortnately, on Monday it was revealed Fury was forced out of the fight due to an injury. Shortly thereafter, it was revealed Paul would be rematching Woodley, who took the fight on 12 days’ notice.

Woodley was released by the UFC earlier this year following a submission loss to Vicente Luque at UFC 260. He then made the move to the world of boxing and made his professional boxing debut when he took on Jake Paul in August. Although Woodley lost a split decision in that fight, he made a lot of money doing so, and it feels like he still has more fights left for him inside the boxing ring. Indeed, it looks like Woodley is interested in boxing again — in addition to competing in MMA and then two other combat sports events.

Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis claimed that former UFC champion Tyron Woodley was contractually not allowed to KO Jake Paul in boxing. Woodley and Paul met in a professional boxing match at the end of August in Paul’s backyard of Cleveland, Ohio. It was a competitive fight that went the full eight contracted rounds, but at the end of the fight, it was Paul who was awarded a split decision. Most people who watched agreed that Paul did enough work to win enough rounds on points to earn the decision, but it is also fair to say that Woodley had some of the biggest moments of the fight.
