Tyron Woodley fires back at Conor McGregor for calling him a bum
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is never one to shy away from talking trash. While McGregor is slated to fight Nate Diaz in a highly anticipated welterweight rematch at UFC 202 this Saturday, he hasn’t refrained from trash talking many other UFC stars.
That hasn’t sat too well with UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who fired back at McGregor during his ‘Morning Wood with Deez Nuts’ podcast:
“This goes out to Conor…you need to watch your mouth bro. Because I don’t do nothing but give you cred. I said something about how your hands look sharp, how you’re a tough fighter, you got a big mindset. Where I’m from you don’t call people bums.”
“You’re fighting in my weight, and you’re not in my weight. You’re fighting a lightweight in welterweight, and you might want to watch that brother. Because, I don’t think you want them problems. I’m not Nate. I’m somebody that’s going to hit you, and you’re gonna wake up the next day thinking about retiring.”
Regardless of whether or not McGregor emerges from UFC 202 victorious, UFC President Dana White has stated that he will defend his featherweight title against Jose Aldo. Despite that, McGregor seems to have an agenda of his own. Could it include a fight with Tyron Woodley?
