Tyron Woodley responds to Colby Covington’s sister

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has issued a response to Colby Covington’s sister.

Earlier this month at UFC 225 in Chicago, Colby Covington was crowned the UFC’s new interim welterweight champion after scoring a unanimous decision victory over former lightweight title holder Rafael dos Anjos.

Following her brothers big win, Colby Covington’s sister shared a few words backstage that were directed at the reigning division title holder Tyron Woodley.

“There are still gonna be haters, ‘Oh well you didn’t do this right, you didn’t do that right.’ Now we got a belt, now what do you have to say? Now we’re coming after Woodley, there’s no stopping us now. Absolutely not.”

“The Chosen One” took to Twitter earlier this afternoon where he delivered the following response to Covington’s sister and her recent remarks.

The Covington vs. Woodley title unification bout could prove to be one of the biggest fights in UFC welterweight history.

The former teammates turned bitter rivals have not been shy in sharing their respective dislike for one another and that animosity should only escalate as their yet to be announced title fight approaches.
