“The majority of fighters did not have an issue with Conor not coming”
According to MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani, most of the UFC fighters he spoke with at today’s UFC 200 press conference had no issue with Conor McGregor not attending the media event.
I talked to several fighters who were on that stage this week, the vast majority, off the record, did not have an issue w/ Conor not coming.

Helwani did not share which fighters actually did take issue with Conor’s absence from the event, but one would have to guess Jose Aldo made the “minority” list.
The former featherweight champion, who will rematch Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 for the promotions interim title, sent out this Tweet bashing the Irish superstar earlier today.
What is your take on the situation? Do you think the UFC should cut Conor McGregor some slack after he supposedly made the promotion $400 million in 8 months? Or is “The Notorious” in the wrong for believing he should receive some “special treatment”? Sound off PENN Nation!
