UFC 218 Results: Dominick Reyes finishes Jeremy Kimball in Round 1 (VIDEO)
A light heavyweight bout between Jeremy Kimball and Dominick Reyes took place on tonight’s UFC 218 Fight Pass Prelims from Detroit.
Round one begins and Reyes starts off quickly. He lands a jab and then a low kick. Kimball charges forward with a combination. He lands a left and then presses Reyes against the fence. He is looking for a takedown. Kimball with double under hooks. He works in a knee. Reyes reverses the position and then scores a trip takedown. Reyes is in side control now. He works in an elbow and then a left hand. Kimball scrambles back to full guard but eats a hard shot for his troubles. Another good strike and Kimball gives up his back. Reyes jumps on him and locks in a body triangle. He begins landing some brutal elbows. Kimball attempts to scramble but can’t get free. More elbows from Reyes. He locks in a rear-naked choke and this one is all over.
