A heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis and Travis Browne served as the main event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 105 event in Halifax, Canada.

Round one begins and Lewis charges forward with a right to the body that just misses. Browne lands a big leg kick. He circles and throws a front kick that misses the mark. Lewis fires back with a body kick. Browne takes the center of the octagon. Lewis fires off a leg kick. Browne connects with a kick to the body that hurt Lewis. Lewis is holding his side. Browne connects with a jab and then a leg kick. He kicks to the body and Lewis winces in pain. Another low kick scores for Browne. Lewis attempts a spinning kick that misses. He throws a body kick that lands. Browne chases after him and lands a leg kick. Lewis counters with a right that drops Browne. “Hapa” gets back up. He fires off a body kick that hurts Lewis bad. Another hard leg kick from Travis. He scores another. One minute remains. Browne with another low kick and then one to the body. Lewis throws a spinning kick that misses. He connects with a right on Browne. Travis smiles and round one comes to an end.

Round two begins and Browne lands a heavy leg kick to start. He comes forward and lands a kick to the mid section of Lewis. Browne with a nice kick. Lewis comes forward and lands a right. Browne is hurt. Lewis is all over him. A big uppercut lands for Lewis. Browne clinches up. He attempts a takedown but Lewis winds up on top. Lewis is in half guard here and landing some punches. Browne scrambles but cannot get back up to his feet. Huge right hands now from Lewis. Travis scrambles and gets back to his feet. Lewis catches him with a right hand and Travis goes back down. Huge shots from the top by Lewis and Browne is out cold. WOW!
