UFC 197 Bonus Report

‘UFC 197’ in Las Vegas delivered some memorable fights and solid finishes.

With that said, UFC President Dana White handed out three “Performance of the night” awards at last night’s UFC 197 post fight press conference.

Those $50,000 ‘UFC 197’ bonuses went to the following fighters:

Performance of the night bonus – Yair Rodriguez earned an extra $50,000 for his spectacular roundhouse kick knockout victory over Andre Fili.

Performance of the night bonus – Demetrious Johnson pocketed an extra $50,000 for his destruction of Henry Cejudo. “Might Mouse” won the fight in the opening round via TKO.

Fight of the night bonus – Dominique Steele and Danny Roberts each earned an extra $50,000 last night, this after they went to war for three rounds. Roberts ended up with the victory but Steele’s stock definitely went up despite the loss.
