UFC 203 Official Fight Card

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will attempt to defend his title for the first time this Saturday in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, when he squares off with former Strikeforce and DREAM heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem in the main event of UFC 203.

Miocic earned the UFC heavyweight championship this past May at UFC 198, when he scored a first-round knockout victory over Fabricio Werdum in Brazil.

Meanwhile, Alistair Overeem has put together an impressive four-fight win streak, his latest being a second-round TKO victory over former title holder Andrei Arlovski.

In the evening’s co-main attraction former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum will square off with perennial contender Travis Browne. Werdum and Browne have a history, having previously met at UFC on FOX 11 in 2014. The Brazilian won the pairs first bout via unanimous decision.

Also on the card is the highly anticipated debut of former WWE champion CM Punk, who will be squaring off with undefeated welterweight Mickey Gall (2-0 MMA) in a bout which will serve as Punk’s professional mixed martial arts debut.
