UFC Fight Night 88 medical suspensions
Earlier this week, UFC Fight Night 88 went down in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event was a thrilling one that saw Cody Garbrandt end Thomas ALmedia’s undefeated streak, Jeremy Stephens defeat former bantamweight champion Renan Barao, and more!
Following the event, MMAMania obtained the medical suspensions for the fighters at the event:
Thomas Almeida: Suspended 60 days (45 days no contact) for precautionary reasons
Renan Barao: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for scalp laceration
Tarec Saffiedine: Suspended 30 days (15 days no contact) for lacerations on left eyebrow and left knee
Chris Camozzi: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for possible injuries to his left foot and right shoulder
Vitor Miranda: Suspended 60 days (45 days no contact) for laceration on a left eyebrow
Josh Burkman: Suspended 180 days pending ENT doctor clearance for possible broken nose; minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons
Jordan Rinaldi: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for left-cheek laceration
Jake Collier: Suspended 180 days pending ENT doctor clearance for possible broken nose; minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons
Bryan Caraway: Suspended 180 days pending orthopedic doctor clearance for possible left-shoulder and back injuries; minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons
Chris de la Rocha: Suspended 180 days pending ENT doctor clearance for possible nasal fracture; minimum suspension 30 days (21 days no contact) for precautionary reasons
Adam Milstead: Suspended 30 days (21 days no contact) for right-hand pain
Fighters not listed were suspended for the mandatory seven day period, and did not suffer any sidelining injuries.
