UFC on FOX 20 Results: Felice Herrig submits Kailin Curran in round 1

A strawweight fight between Felice Herrig and Kailin Curran kicked off tonight’s UFC on FOX 20 main card in Chicago.
Round one begins and Herrig opens up with a front kick that misses. Felice connects with a jab. Curran responds with a kick to the body. Felice with a nice combination. She scores with a nice left kick to the body. Curran lands a jab and follows up with a high kick that partially lands. Felice grabs a hold of Kailin’s leg and takes the fight to the ground. Herrig immediately takes the back of Curran and sinks in a rear-naked choke. Curran tries to defend but it is deep. Kailan is forced to tap.
