UFC on FOX 21 Results: Demian Maia submits Carlos Condit

A key welterweight bout between former UFC interim champion Carlos Condit (30-9 MMA) and former UFC title challenger Demian Maia (23-6 MMA) headlined tonight’s UFC on FOX 21 event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Round one begins and Maia takes the center of the octagon. Condit misses with a head kick. Demian shoots in and easily lands a takedown. Maia immediately moves to half guard. Condit with an elbow from the bottom. Maia moves to the back position. He immediately begins working for a rear-naked choke. It looks to be tight. Condit taps.
