Conor McGregor gets roasted by fans after spelling ‘St. Paddy’s Day’ incorrectly

By Tom Taylor - January 29, 2019

Conor McGregor is a proud Irishman, so you’d think he’d be able to spell ‘St. Paddy’s Day’ correctly. Unfortunately, the Irishman — or more likely, whoever runs his Twitter account — made a pretty major error in a recent Tweet, spelling it ‘St. Patty’s Day.’

Although this Tweet was quickly deleted and replaced with one that included that proper spelling of St. Paddy’s day, it was already too late. The fans let Conor McGregor have it. The Internet is a cruel and unforgiving place.

See some of the fan reactions to this Conor McGregor spelling error below:

“We all already saw it, buddy,” one fan wrote, letting Conor McGregor know that his efforts to cover up his error were for naught.

“We saw pattys day,” wrote another fan.

“Glad you corrected that brutal mistake,” one fan said.

“Hope you fired the yank you had running the account,” another fan chided.

Needless to say, fans are not impressed by this Conor McGregor blunder. The good news for the Irishman is that the Internet tends to forget these things pretty quickly. We’ll all be distracted by something else in a matter of hours.
