Dillon Danis threatens to suplex Ben Askren if he doesn’t ‘pipe down’

By Thomas Taylor - January 26, 2019

Earlier this week, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov discussed the upcoming UFC debut of former Bellator and ONE Championship welterweight titleholder Ben Askren.

Dillon Danis, Ben Askren

He never fight in the UFC,” Nurmagomedov told Submission Radio of Askren. “He has to fight in the UFC first of all. He has to show his levels because I see how someone smash him in ONE FC. Somebody like smashed him in ONE FC. He just signed to the UFC and tried talk, you know. But now everybody tries to talk and promote these things, but you have to compete in the UFC, then we’re gonna see his levels.”

Shortly after Khabib Nurmagomedov made this comment, Ben Askren fired back on Twitter.

Just heard what @TeamKhabib said, he will find his levels when he can’t get off his back and I am big brothering him. Will fight him for 165lb title in October/November of this year.” – Ben Askren

While this beef initially only involved Khabib Nurmagomedov and Ben Askren, Conor McGregor training partner Dillon Danis has decided to join the fracas, taking a shot at Askren and threatening to suplex the wrestling standout.

“Me and you have the same credentials in MMA pipe down you simp before i suplex you.” – Dillon Danis

At this time, neither Nurmagomedov nor Askren has replied to Danis, although it’s probably just a matter of time before they do.

This is not the first time Dillon Danis and Ben Askren have gotten into it on social media. The pair have had plenty to say about each other in the past.

Dillon Danis also has quite a bit of history with Khabib Nurmagomedov, as the pair engaged in a chaotic post-fight skirmish at UFC 229 in October.
