UFC light-heavyweight contender Johnny Walker is still unhappy after his fight with Magomed Ankalaev.

For those that are unaware, the two light-heavyweights faced off at UFC 294 on Saturday night. Leading into the bout, both men were hoping to secure a title shot. While Johnny Walker entered the event riding a three-fight winning streak, Magomed Ankalaev hadn’t been seen since a draw with Jan Blachowicz in December.

Sadly for both men, there was no resolution coming out of their clash over the weekend. Just minutes into the bout, Magomed Ankalaev landed a knee while Johnny Walker was grounded. While a clean strike, it wasn’t a heavy one, and the Brazilian looked like he would be able to proceed.

Instead, thanks to an inexperienced referee and a lack of translation, the fight was called off. Both men were outraged, but Johnny Walker was the far more hotter of the two. The light-heavyweight contender had to be separated from Magomed Ankalaev, with Dana White even getting involved post-fight.

Days after the bout, it’s clear that Johnny Walker still isn’t happy. Taking to social media, the light-heavyweight contender questioned how the fight could be waved off, but he didn’t get the disqualification win. With that thinking, one can just foul no matter what, and get a no-contest result.

“Why should I follow a rule that has no punishment if I break it?” Johnny Walker wrote on social media days after his no-contest with Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 294. “If he can do illegal things to take advantage. Then I can too & get a NC next time.”

He continued, “so we are ok to kick balls and punch behind neck and spine too , if you kill somebody, no worries. It’s just no contest”

What do you make of these comments? Do you think Johnny Walker vs. Magomed Ankalaev should be re-booked?
