It doesn’t look like the title reign of Jon Jones is going to end anytime soon. At the same time, Brazilian light heavyweight contender Johnny Walker is hurtling toward title contention at breakneck speeds.

As such, many fans are already discussing a potential Jon Jones vs. Johnny Walker title fight.

Jones recently discussed this possibility, and seems quite excited about the possibility of fighting the violent Brazilian.

Johnny Walker is somebody that I’m very aware of,” Jones said. “I know I’m gonna be fighting him sooner or later (via The Mac Life).

“I just appreciate his energy,” Jones said. “He seems like a nice guy. He just radiates his happiness and his positivity, and it’s refreshing. He seems like the type of guy I’d go out and have a beer with. He’s cool. He seems cool… until we fight. And then after I beat him, he’ll be cool again.”

Jon Jones and Johnny Walker, of course, both authored dominant victories at UFC 235 last weekend.

Walker appeared on the undercard, having stepped in on short-notice to replace Ovince Saint Preux against Misha Cirkunov. The Brazilian did not waste this opportunity, levelling Cirkunov with a flying knee in the first round. He’s 17-3 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the Octagon.

Jones, meanwhile, fought in the UFC 235 main event, where he defeated Anthony Smith by unanimous decision to retain his light heavyweight strap. He’s a fantastic 24-1-0 overall, with his lone loss coming by way of DQ.

How do you think a seemingly inevitable fight between Jon Jones and Johnny Walker will go?
