The 21-year-old Dinamo St. Petersburg defender, Pugina, posted a video of a recent scuffle involving players of the Russian Women’s Hockey League (WHL) to her official Instagram page (via RT.com).

The Octagon heads south of the border tonight for UFC Mexico, a twelve-bout fight card headlined by a featherweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez. Yair Rodriguez was last seen in action in November of 2018, where he scored a last-second knockout victory over Chan Sung Jung. The stunning win improved ‘El Pantera’s’ overall record to 11-2 in mixed martial arts.

Dan Hooker believes current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is beatable and has named three fighters he thinks are capable of dethroning ‘The Eagle’. Hooker (18-8 MMA) will return to action in the co-headliner of next month’s highly anticipated UFC 243 event where he will square off with former title challenger Al Iaquinta.

The fight was Nurmagomedov’s fourth appearance in the UFC Octagon, but it was a timeless performance that showcased his grappling capabilities. Trujillo was a rising UFC prospect who made his UFC debut a few months prior. He knocked Marcus LeVesseur in the second round and was intending on making a name for himself in the lightweight division.

The news was first reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN, who also reported that Evans’ manager, Ali Abdelaziz says Evans is considering a comeback to fighting. While many have called for Tony Ferguson to be the next matchup for lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, UFC President Dana White has another opponent in mind if “El Cucuy” doesn’t make it to a fight with the champion. In an interview with TMZ Sports, White said that Ferguson is next in line, despite the fact that there have been four previous booking attempts that have failed between Ferguson and Nurmagomedov.

On November 2, the UFC will go head-to-head with a massive boxing match, and UFC President Dana White is expecting to come out on top. Over on the East Coast, White and the UFC will promote UFC 244, a huge pay-per-view card topped by a dynamite welterweight showdown between fan favorite welterweight contenders Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. Over on the West Coast, and potentially overlapping with UFC 244, Golden Boy Promotions will promote a similarly huge card, as pound-for-pound stalwart Canelo Alvarez climbs up in weight to battle the much larger Sergey Kovalev.

Jorge Masvidal is currently focused on a UFC 244 fight Nate Diaz, but that doesn’t mean he’s not thinking about his future options in the UFC welterweight division. If everything goes according to plan against Diaz, Masvidal says he wants to mix it up with one of “two sissies” next. By that, he means UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman and top contender Colby Covington. More specifically, he seems to want to fight whichever of the two is holding the UFC welterweight title at the time — assuming they fight in the meantime.

Speaking during a fan Q&A on Twitter, UFC President Dana White was asked when fans will get a sneak peak of this new UFC belt. He claimed the belt will be revealed the week of UFC 244 — so sometime in the days ahead of November 2.

Thiago Santos sustained some serious injuries in his July split decision loss to UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Despite his valiant effort, the Brazilian challenger exited the cage with a torn ACL, MCL, PCL and meniscus in his left knee and a partially torn meniscus in his right. Unsurprisingly, these injuries required Santos to go under the knife. Shortly after his fight, he underwent a complicated surgery to repair his badly damaged knees.

Many also expected that fight to be at UFC 244 in Madison Square Garden. Yet, that is not the case. Greg Hardy’s next opponent and location has changed. Originally, the former NFL pro-bowler was set to take on Jarjis Danho at UFC Singapore. But, Danho had pulled out of the fight, so the UFC decided to move Hardy to UFC Boston, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
