Dana White provides promising update on return of Conor McGregor

Tom Taylor - January 18, 2019

Ever since Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, there’s been question as to whether or not he’ll ever return to the Octagon. While he seems to be quite interested in doing so, it’s hard to ignore that he’s making mountains of money outside of fighting and has no fiscal reason to return to this face-punching racket. Whatever the case, Conor McGregor definitely seems to be a fan of the UFC’s new belt design.Speaking on Twitter on Friday morning, the Irish MMA star reacted to the new belt.

In the lead-up to this fight with Cejudo, Dillashaw has repeatedly mentioned that he’s interested in eventually moving up to the featherweight division to battle local champ Max Holloway for a third UFC belt.

With his weight cut out of the way, the only remaining challenge is the fight itself. To say TJ Dillashaw is feeling confident would be an understatement. Despite the fact that he’s slimmed down quite a bit, he says he’s actually stronger than ever heading into this flyweight title fight.

Drake Riggs - January 17, 2019

At UFC 232 on December 29 2018, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes did the unthinkable by defeating Cyborg. And she did so in incredibly devastating fashion.

Three reasons to watch UFC Brooklyn on ESPN+

Mike Straus - January 17, 2019

Champion vs champion fights don’t come along too often and a title fight that is not on a PPV card is rare. That however, is exactly what is on tap for this weekend’s UFC Brooklyn card on ESPN+. The FOX era is over and the UFC is now partnered with Disney. Well, sort of … Disney owns ESPN. Regardless, just like they did with the first big FOX card between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos back in 2011, the UFC is coming in hot with their first offering on a new platform.

TJ Dillashaw fires back at 'scared' Henry Cejudo

Tom Taylor - January 17, 2019

Earlier this week, UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo made some rather hostile remarks about his next challenger, slimmed-down bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw. Cejudo seemed particularly concerned about Dillashaw’s flyweight physique, and whether or not the bantamweight champ will hit the 125-pound flyweight limit for their Saturday night fight. “Personally, I think he looks like Pee-wee Herman if you ask me,” Cejudo said of Dillashaw on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour (transcript via MMA Fighting). “In the physique way, I really do feel like he looks like Pee-wee Herman. … I thought he’d have a little more bulk to him, but I guess not. He’s not looking so well. It looks like he needs a cup of water. He looks like a cross country runner.”

Nunes followed this announcement by suggesting that Cris Cyborg, the woman she knocked out to win the UFC featherweight belt, fight lightweight prospect Kayla Harrison. Sorry Cristiane but I’m done with 145. My Goal was to be a double champ. But, now I can help you build the division. I got someone for you @Judo_Kayla is a true 145er
