The Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung appears to be in phenomenal shape just one week away from his highly anticipated octagon return at UFC Denver.
The fan favorite, Jung, will be taking on Yair Rodriguez in the main event of the promotions 25th anniversary show which takes place November 10 live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
The Korean Zombie was initially slated to face former lightweight title holder Frankie Edgar at the historic event.
However, “The Answer” unfortunately suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from the contest.
The Korean Zombie has not stepped foot inside the octagon since February of 2017, when he returned from a multi-year hiatus and knocked out Dennis Bermudez.
Despite another incurring another lengthy layoff, The Korean Zombie appears to be in phenomenal shape headed into next weekend’s tilt with “El Pantera”.

Prior to defeating Dennis Bermudez, Jung’s next most recent contest occurred in August of 2014, when he came up short in a title fight with then champion Jose Aldo.
The Korean Zombie will enter next weekend’s UFC Fight Night 139 main event with Yair Rodriguez sporting a professional record of 14-4 overall.
Meanwhile, Yair Rodriquez will return to action for the first time since May of 2017 where he suffered a brutal second-round TKO loss to the aforementioned Frankie Edgar at UFC 211.
Prior to the setback, “El Pantera” had reeled off six straight UFC victories, which included wins over Dan Hooker, Alex Caceres and BJ Penn.
