Thursday was thanksgiving, and as always, the stars of the MMA world joined up with their friends and family, filled their plates with turkey, potatoes, stuffing and the like, and ate until their belts bursted and their weight classes had changed completely.

Check out how the MMA community celebrated thanksgiving — along with what some the sport’s top stars are thankful for — below.

“Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from the Cormier Family,” said UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier on Twitter. “So much to be thankful for but nothing more than the health of these three. They are what I live for. Happy Thanksgiving DC.”

“Happy thanks giving from my family you yours,” said UFC flyweight turned bantamweight Ray Borg, whose infant son has been battling serious health problems. “We are thankful to have this amazing little boy in our lives, along with all the amazing people that have shown us love and support through it all.”

“Man I’m so thirsty and so hungry right now happy thanksgiving day folks,” said former UFC lightweight and featherweight champ Conor McGregor.

“How can I not celebrate this day,” McGregor added. “I’ve the most to be thankful for. It’s insane. Thank you all truly. Thanksgiving day.”

“Happy thanksgiving! Make the time today to reflect and count your blessings! Also if possible try to put yourself into a food coma,” said former UFC middleweight champ Chris Weidman.

Needless to say, it seems like it was a successful thanksgiving for all those inside the MMA bubble. How did you celebrate?
