Pros react to Kamaru Usman defeating Tyron Woodley at UFC 235

The welterweight title was up for grabs in tonight’s UFC 235 co-headliner as Kamaru Usman challenged Tyron Woodley.

Tyron Woodley had most recently competed at September’s UFC 228 event, where he submitted the previously undefeated Darren Till.

As for Kamaru Usman, “The Nigerian Nightmare” was last seen in action this past November, where he earned a lopsided decision win over Rafael dos Anjos.

Tonight’s UFC 235 co-main event proved to be a lopsided affair, as Kamaru Usman was able to dominate Tyron Woodley for twenty-five minutes on route to a unanimous decision win.

Usman was able to utilize his wrestling and ground and pound to wear down Woodley for the majority of the fight.
