“Credible Source: Negotiations on-going between Conor McGregor & Paulie Malignaggi. (Boxing)”
That report was echoed by mixed martial arts insider @TalkMMA who took to social media with the following information.
I’m hearing that @PaulMalignaggi vs @TheNotoriousMMA boxing match is in light discussions.
This is most likely Conor and Paul’s Best chance for a long awaited grudge match, and for both to make a little bit more extra cheddar.
Like discussions for now. Nothing serious.

Paulie Malignaggi and Conor McGregor have a storied history that has culminated in an extremely bitter history.
Malignaggi served as a training partner for Conor McGregor ahead of his highly anticiapted 2017 boxing debut against undefeated legend of the sport, Floyd Mayweather.
Shortly after the “Magic Man” left the Irish stars training camp, photos surfaced that appeared to showcase Conor McGregor getting the better of Paulie Malginaggi in their sparring session.
Later, a short video emerged of “Mystic Mac” appearing to drop Malignaggi with a punch during their aforementioned sparring session.
Malignaggi was not happy about the video footage or the photos being released to the public and challenged Conor McGregor to post the entire sparring session so that the world could see “what really happened”.
Since then Malignaggi and McGregor have been at each others throats whether it be in public or on social media.
Following McGregor’s fourth-round submission loss to current undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Paulie took to Twitter with the following insult.

Paulie Malignaggi would continue his attempt to provoke Conor McGregor by backing the crazy post-fight actions of “The Eagle” at UFC 229.
This man has more honor, character and balls than @NotoriousMMA his team and any of these @ufc suits combined. Do the right thing and pay the man and leave Zubaira out of this! Your organization becomes more of a joke by the day! Do the right thing! https://t.co/0yU36KLgzM
