“I’m back MF’s – Champ Sh*t Only!” Tony Ferguson captured the post.

Ferguson has not stepped foot inside the cage since defeating former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis by way of TKO at UFC 229 in October of 2018.

The former interim 155-pound champion, who was battling some issues outside of the cage in recent months, appears to have received the green light from promotional officials.

There are numerous possibilities for Tony Ferguson’s next opponent.

Justin Gaethje, Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone would seem like logical opponents for El Cucuy’s octagon return.

No matter who he matches up with next, Ferguson will enter the contest looking to build on the momentum of his current twelve fight win streak.

During that stretch Tony has defeated the likes of Rafael dos Anjos, Anthony Pettis, Josh Thomson and Kevin Lee.
