UFC 237 weigh-in results: headliners hit marks for title fight, one fight scratched

On Saturday night, the UFC will return to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the stacked UFC 237 card (learn how to watch it here).

This card will be topped by a compelling women’s strawweight title fight, as the champion Rose Namajunas defends her title on enemy soil against Brazil’s Jessica Andrade. Despite being the champion, Namajunas has been pegged as a slight underdog heading into this fight.

The UFC 237 card will also feature appearances from two Brazilian MMA legends, as former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will return to action rising contender Jared Cannonier, and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo returns to the cage for a number one contender fight with Alexander Volkanovski.

The UFC 237 undercard, finally, will also feature some big names, such as Clay Guida, BJ Penn and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

On Friday morning, the fighters on the UFC 237 bill stepped onto the scales to weigh in for battle. While the top three fights on the bill have all gotten the green light, one main card fight has reportedly been scratched. At this time, it’s not clear why.
