UFC Argentina: Magny vs. Ponzinibbio Live Results

UFC Argentina takes center stage tonight as the promotion invades Buenos Aires for its UFC Fight Night 140 event.

Tonight’s UFC Argentina event is headlined by a welterweight bout featuring hometown favorite Santiago Ponzinnibio taking on Neil Magny.

Santiago Ponzinibbio (26-3 MMA) enters tonight’s UFC Argentina main event on a six fight win streak, his latest being a unanimous decision win over Mike Perry this past December.

Meanwhile, Neil Magny was most recently seen in action at UFC Liverpool, where he scored a first-round knockout victory over Craig White.

In the co-main event of UFC Argentina featherweight standouts Ricardo Lamas and Darren Elkins will throw down in hopes of moving up the 145-pound ranks.

Ricardo Lamas enters tonight’s contest looking to rebound this after dropping back-to-back fights to Mirsad Bektic and Josh Emmett respectively. Prior to that, “The Bully” had scored stoppage wins over Jason Knight and Charles Oliveira.

As for Darren Elkins, “The Damage” will enter the UFC Argentina co-main event sporting a 6-1 record over his past seven fights.

If that wasn’t enough to get you interested, UFC Argentina also features a women’s strawweight bout between Cynthia Calvillo and Poliana Botelho.

Calvillo missed weight for the event, and will now give up 20% of her fight purse to opponent Poliana Botelho.
