WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and UFC flyweight king Henry Cejudo trade shots on social media

WWE champion Daniel Bryan believes he could submit UFC flyweight champ Henry Cejudo faster than “The Messenger” finished TJ Dillashaw.

Earlier today in an interview ABC 15 Sports, Daniel Bryan seemingly warned Cejudo to stay away from his sister-in-law Nikki Bella.

“Henry Cejudo, a Valley resident, who just defended his UFC championship last Saturday, wants to go out on a date with my sister-in-law,” the WWE champion said. “Guess what? Henry Cejudo, you’re not the man that Daniel Bryan is. You fight Daniel Bryan, you go down every time. That’s why I’m the best.”

Henry Cejudo and Nikki Bella crossed paths during the Flyweight champions flight to Brooklyn.

Following his huge win over TJ Dillashaw, the Total Bella’s star reached out to “The Messenger” and asked him to teach her some grappling moves… and invited him for wine.

Cejudo responded at Bryan’s comments earlier this evening on Twitter with the following.

“@WWEDanielBryan there’s enough room in The Valley for a King and a Prince. As Prince, you should know your role & make sure you pour my Bella Radici wine to the rim. PS. Don’t get too attached to that @WWE belt, I am on a bit of a roll myself.” – Henry Cejudo

As expected, Henry Cejudo’s comments did not sit well with the current WWE champ. Daniel Bryan returned fire with the following threat directed at the former Olympic Gold Medalist.

“Watch your mouth, boy, or after I beat AJ at #RoyalRuble, I’ll drop down to 125 and come tap you faster than you KO’d Dillashaw. #HeelHookSucka #KingOfChampions #PlanetsChamp”

Daniel Bryan will defend his WWE title against former champ AJ Styles at Sunday’s Royal Rumble event.

As for Henry Cejudo, “The Messenger” is expected to rematch TJ Dillashaw in his next octagon appearance, more than likely at bantamweight.
