Video | YouTube critic gets sucker-punch KO’d by Polish fighter during interview
The MMA world gets a little weirder and a lot wilder the further east you happen to go, as this recent video from a Polish press event proves. A YouTube critic by the name of Sadek learned you have to protect yourself at all times if a fighter you’ve criticized is present.
In America, the worst reporters and influencers have to worry about is a Diaz brothers slap or a ‘Rampage’ Jackson hump. In this clip, Polish fighter Amadeusz ‘Ferrari’ Roslik goes full send, blitzing into an interview between Sadek and reporter Monika Laskowska to knock Sadek out cold.
While details are somewhat sparse, regional news site MMA.pl reports that Sadek has been a ‘great critic of Ferrari lately.’ They implied it was a bad idea for him to even turn up at the press conference for the upcoming High League 4 in Gliwice, Poland on September 17th. Amadeusz Roslik is set to face Pawl Bomba on that card, so it was almost guaranteed that the two would run into each other.
We doubt anybody other than Roslik knew things would end so violently, though.
We have to give credit to Sadek. After getting sucker-punched out of nowhere by Roslik and knocked out, he gets back to his feet and continues the interview with Laskowska!
This isn’t Amadeusz Roslik’s first display of bad behavior. The temperamental welterweight earned a DQ loss in 2020 after knocking down Adrian Polanski and soccer kicking him in the face. Polanski would go on to win the rematch via split decision in March 2022, but not before Roslik attacked him during the event’s press conference, knocking him off the stage.
3rd fight between Amadeusz "Ferrari" Roślik and Adrian "Polak" Polański confirmed for this saturday's FAME MMA 13 event which gives me a good excuse to post how their last meeting ended #popMMA pic.twitter.com/zuco102b2Z

There’s no word from the High League promoters as to whether Roslik will still be competing on Saturday’s High League 4 card. We also have no news on whether Sadek will be pressing charges against The Polish Fighter for assaulting him.
It seems like backstage violence and press conference brawls are becoming the norm everywhere, and it’s all a big laugh until someone gets seriously hurt. Even in the UFC, there’s no more consequences for assaulting people outside the cage.
Jorge Masvidal famously punched up Leon Edwards backstage at a UFC London event in 2019. Masvidal would later assault Colby Covington in the streets of Miami after losing a one-sided decision to ‘Chaos’ in the Octagon. No action from the UFC has been taken. Khamzat Chimaev was even rewarded with a fight against Kevin Holland at UFC 279 after things got physical between the two. Since the violence sells, it’s allowed to continue.
What do you think, BJPENN Nation? Are incidents like this still rare and condemned, or is mixed martial arts quickly turning into a lawless domain where brutes and thugs regularly get away with assault? Let us know in the comments.
