Legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach spoke to media after Miguel Cotto put on an amazing performance against Sergio Martinez. Roach believes that a rematch between Cotton and Mayweather would go very different than the first one.
He just fought really well, I was happy with the whole performance. Three knockdowns in the first round was a bit of a surprise and we kept outboxing him the rest of the way. We didn’t lose a single round and I was so happy with his performance. His defense was great. I didn’t see [Martinez] hit him with anything clean.
When directly asked how a rematch would Mayweather would go, Roach responded with:
