Music megastar Drake was in attendance for the second stop of the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor world tour in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday. The Candian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor appeared on stage in front of nearly 15,000 fans in attendance for the press conference to hype up the money fight between the two biggest names from boxing and mixed martial arts.

Thursday afternoon, the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor world tour hits New York for the third stop of the highly anticipated four-city tour. Wednesday’s press conference stop in Toronto was much more intense than the first stop of the tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday, with the UFC lightweight champion coming out guns blazing in the verbal battle. Upon taking to the mic, Conor McGregor quickly took aim at not only the Mayweather family, but Showtime Exec. Stephen Espinoza, who he blamed for cutting power to his mic during the first press conference:

Tuesday at the first Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor press conference, the pair kicked off their world tour, as well as begun their trash talk for the highly anticipated event. McGregor spoke to the audience in attendance at the Staples Center first, before then passing the microphone over to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather continued the war of words, as he launched several scathing attacks at the UFC champion, who had his mic cut during Mayweather’s speech. When the pair came face to face for their first staredown at the end of the press conference, it was clear that the trash talk had only just begun as the pair continued to talk trash face to face.

In the main event of the evening, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes takes on Valentina Shevchenko in a rematch. However, this time their fight will be for Nunes’ championship belt as she looks to defend her title for the second time. Nunes and Shevchenko fought at UFC 196 back in March of last year where Nunes walked away with a unanimous decision win. Fans are curious to see how the five-round title fight goes as Nunes won rounds one and two in their first fight. However, Shevchenko turned it on towards the end of the fight in round three so it will be interesting to see how things go with five rounds on Saturday night.

More movement to go along with all the huge amount of daily traditional work: mitts, heavy bag, cardio and lots of sparring. Keeping the brain quick, the eyes sharp, the feet light. When such a zero impact drill is involved the 'software is upgraded without damaging the hardware' (John Kavanagh) and extra motor learning and re-patterning can occur at scenarios that are hard to target in traditional sparring in such dosages and frequency. At the same time these are not rehearsed or pre-set sequences. This will need to be transfered later into sparring but provides room for experimentation, growth, research and lots of extra practice to feed into sparring and technical work.
