Thursday afternoon, the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor world tour hits New York for the third stop of the highly anticipated four-city tour. Wednesday’s press conference stop in Toronto was much more intense than the first stop of the tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday, with the UFC lightweight champion coming out guns blazing in the verbal battle. Upon taking to the mic, Conor McGregor quickly took aim at not only the Mayweather family, but Showtime Exec. Stephen Espinoza, who he blamed for cutting power to his mic during the first press conference:

Wednesday evening, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will hit the stage for their second press conference in Toronto ahead of their August 26th fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This marks the second stop of the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor world tour, which will see both fighters take to the stage in two more cities after tonight’s event in Toronto, Canada.

Tuesday at the first Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor press conference, the pair kicked off their world tour, as well as begun their trash talk for the highly anticipated event. McGregor spoke to the audience in attendance at the Staples Center first, before then passing the microphone over to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather continued the war of words, as he launched several scathing attacks at the UFC champion, who had his mic cut during Mayweather’s speech. When the pair came face to face for their first staredown at the end of the press conference, it was clear that the trash talk had only just begun as the pair continued to talk trash face to face.

The fight is being dubbed the ‘Fight of the Century’ and has led to both men predicting that they will finish the fight early, with Mayweather’s coach predicting that Mayweather will end the fight within three rounds, while Conor McGregor recently promised Dana White that he will hand Floyd Mayweather his first professional loss within the first four rounds of the fight.

However, this time their fight will be for Nunes’ championship belt as she looks to defend her title for the second time. Nunes and Shevchenko fought at UFC 196 back in March of last year where Nunes walked away with a unanimous decision win. Fans are curious to see how the five-round title fight goes as Nunes won rounds one and two in their first fight. However, Shevchenko turned it on towards the end of the fight in round three so it will be interesting to see how things go with five rounds on Saturday night.
