Anthony “Rumble” Johnson set the story straight after different things were reported regarding him accepting and turning down the fight with former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Johnson was the UFC’s first pick as a replacement after the current champion Daniel Cormier pulled out of the title fight with Jones due to injury.

Johnson posted this video to his Instagram account letting everyone know his side of the story to clear up any confusion that the media, UFC and especially Jon Jones may have had regarding the matter.

Fortunately for Ovince Saint Preux, he will have the chance to take on Jones in an interim title fight. UFC President Dana White has stated that the winner of the interim fight will face Cormier next to unify the belts in the light heavyweight division.
