VIDEO | Ariel Helwani says Joe Rogan’s explanation of the UFC vs. Helwani incident was ‘irresponsible’ and a lie

By Russell Ess - June 14, 2016

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani was making headlines himself last week when he tweeted that he was kicked out of UFC 199 and “banned for life” after breaking the news of Brock Lesnar’s return to the UFC.

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan explained what he was told regarding the incident involving the UFC and Helwani and his team.

Helwani addressed Rogan’s comments earlier with a tweet, but went into a bit more detail on Monday’s episode of “The MMA Hour.”

See what Helwani says in rebuttal to Rogan’s explanation of the incident.

Do you think the media should have to hold the UFC’s announcements to allow the company to unveil the news? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section!
