Michael Page sent shockwaves through the MMA community when his brutal knee fractured the skull of opponent Evangelista Santos at Bellator 158 on Saturday in London.
Santos’ devastating injury has led Bellator MMA to help pay for his medical bills and went even further by awarding the severely injured fighter with his win bonus. In addition to Bellator’s financial support, Santos’ ex-wife, Cris “Cyborg” Justino created a gofundme fundraiser for Santos. Page has asked fans to help support Santos with the unfortunate injury that was the result of their competition.
