VIDEO | CM Punk mean mugs Mickey Gall during press conference staredown

With just over 48 hours to go until UFC 203, where CM Punk will make his highly anticipated MMA debut against 2-0 Mickey Gall. Prior to the event, both fighters appeared at the UFC 203 pre-fight press conference Thursday afternoon. While no water bottles were thrown, at the end of the press conference, both men came face to face for a staredown.

Surprisingly, it was the stone-faced CM Punk who mean mugged Gall during the staredown video, which you can see above.

Punk and Gall will finally fight on Saturday evening, nearly two years after it was announced that the UFC had signed Punk during the UFC 181 broadcast in December of 2014. Since his signing, Punk has trained at Roufusport in Milwaukee alongside the likes of the Pettis brothers under Duke Roufus.

On the other hand, UFC President Dana White discovered Mickey Gall during an episode of “Lookin’ For A Fight”. While the UFC initially hoped to have the pair fight much sooner, an injury delayed Punk’s debut.

In the meantime, Gall fought and defeated Mike Jackson in the 1st round, setting the stage for a fight with Punk in Cleveland this Saturday.
