VIDEO | Conor McGregor says he wants to fight Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz at UFC 230

By Thomas Taylor - October 4, 2018

This Saturday night, in the main event of UFC 229, Conor McGregor will attempt to reclaim the UFC lightweight title from undefeated champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Whatever the outcome of this massive title fight, there’s much speculation as to what might come next for the Irish megastar.

Well, he’s got some ideas.

While he’s recently mentioned potential future fights with Dustin Poirier, Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre and Tyron Woodley, he divulged at Thursday’s UFC 229 pre-fight press conference that he’d like to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz next. Perhaps even as soon as UFC 230 on November 3.

“I’d like to fight Ali,” he said. “I’d like to fight that rat bastard. He’s had a few fights. I might want to spark Khabib and headline that Madison Square Garden card. A snitch versus a proper Irish animal”

See Conor McGregor’s call out of the powerful MMA manager in the video above.

Abdelaziz, who trains regularly with Nurmagomedov and has fought several times in the past, has been the target of much of Conor McGregor’s pre-fight trash talk. The trend continued today.

What do you think of this callout from Conor McGregor? Ali Abdelaziz didn’t seem to take it too seriously.
