When Cris Cyborg made her successful UFC debut recently at UFC 198 when she knocked out Leslie Smith, the talk of a potential superfight with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey picked up steam once again.
Rousey, who is currently on a hiatus from the Octagon following her UFC 193 KO loss to Holly Holm, is reportedly back training and gearing up to return to the Octagon later this year. While many expect Rousey to have a trilogy fight with Miesha Tate, both Cyborg and Rousey are now verbally committed to fighting one another.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Cyborg gave her thoughts on the bout.
