VIDEO | Herb Dean destroys opponent in TKO win

MMA referee Herb Dean has earned the reputation as one of the best referees in MMA. Dean has been ‘the man in the middle’ for some of the biggest fights in MMA history including Weidman vs. Silva II. Dean has also been awarded the award for ‘Referee of the Year’ 5 times.

What many fans don’t know however is that Dean was an MMA fighter before his days as a referee. While he only compiled a 2-3 record during his professional career, check out this clip of Dean picking up a 2nd round TKO win!
