VIDEO | Joe Rogan vs. Conor McGregor in ‘EA Sports UFC 2’
EA Sports UFC 2 is giving fans fights they could only dream of! While UFC commentator Joe Rogan has never fought in the UFC, it’s no secret that Rogan is a martial arts expert. In addition to winning the US Open Tae Kwon Do championship at just 19 years old, Rogan became the US TaeKwonDo grand champion after he won the lightweight title and then moved up to defeat the middleweight, and heavyweight champions. As if that weren’t enough, Rogan is now a black belt under 10th Planet JiuJitsu master Eddie Bravo.
While his credentials are certainly impressive, Rogan’s demonstrations are equally as impressive. Over the years, footage has surfaced of Rogan demonstrating techniques for fans and fighters. One of the most popular clips shows Rogan demonstrating his lethal spinning back kick for former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre, who was the UFC champion at the time of the video. In addition, Rogan has demonstrated numerous 10th Planet JiuJitsu moves in videos and on TV appearances.
Rogan may have no plans of competing in the UFC, however that didn’t stop EA Sports from putting him in their EA Sports UFC 2 game as an unlockable character.
In the video above you can see the longtime UFC commentator fighting UFC champion Conor McGregor.
McGregor of course has one of the highest overall ratings in the entire game, but that wasn’t enough to save him from the wrath of Joe Rogan, who commentated his own fight!
