In the main event of UFC 197, Jon Jones returned to the Octagon for the first time in a year and a half and defeated Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision to claim the interim UFC light heavyweight championship.
Jones, who was unhappy with his performance, will now fight Daniel Cormier for the undisputed UFC light heavyweight championship at a later date.

There will be a multi-fight contract waiting for former UFC champion Cain Velasquez when he gets out of prison—if he decides he wants to compete again.
