VIDEO | Khabib Nurmagomedov wants title shot with win over Tony Ferguson

It’s been nearly 3 years since Khabib Nurmagomedov fought inside the Octagon. The win came over Rafael dos Anjos who went on to ultimately win the UFC lightweight championship.

Nurmagomedov and Ferguson have been scheduled to fight in the past however Nurmagomedov was forced out of the bout due to a rib injury. Now the pair will fight on April 16th at UFC on FOX 19.

While there has been no official word, it is expected that the winner get a lightweight title shot against the winner of UFC 196‘s Conor McGregor vs. Rafael dos Anjos scrap.
