In the co-main event of UFC 196, Miesha Tate defeated Holly Holm via 5th round submission to claim the UFC women’s bantamweight championship.

The win was an extremely impressive one, that looked to be going to a decision before Tate was able to turn the tide and pick up the rear-naked choke win.
