Conor McGregor in Octagon

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor became the first fighter in UFC history to earn a disclosed pay amount of $1,000.000 for a single fight. That fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 196 will get McGregor much more than just a million dollars.

Check out this video breakdown by MMA Mania that dives into the numbers regarding Conor McGregor and the UFC.

Are the numbers all correct? It is hard to tell because the UFC does not disclose more information than they have to, which is basically just the salary reports that come out following each UFC event.

While McGregor added another huge bundle of money to his bank account after UFC 196, Diaz also earned his highest payday in the money fight with McGregor.

UFC President Dana White said that Nate Diaz earned millions of dollars after UFC 196 and is curious to see if Nate will even want to fight again.

Will Conor McGregor’s numbers still be as high after his first loss in the UFC? Share your opinion with us in the comments on McGregor’s draw for future events.
