Is Conor McGregor looking to set up a massive payday in the much-talked about boxing match against Floyd Mayweather so that he can cash out and not have to worry about fighting any longer?

TV host and sportscaster Lindsay McCormick believes that is just the case as she spoke with ES News on the boxing match that both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather want to arrange.

“Didn’t Money May come out and say that Conor McGregor wanted $25 million in order to do this fight and he was like, ‘You’re not even worth 2.5 million. Why are you asking for 25 million?’ I think the reason he is asking for so much money is because he knows deep down that he’s about to get blown out,” McCormick said. “Yeah, he wants to cash out. He doesn’t know what it’s gonna do to his UFC career.”

McCormick stated that she feels Conor McGregor is not where he needs to be in terms of his boxing ability to put up a competitive fight against Mayweather. McCormick stated that she even trained next to Conor McGregor at the Box ’N Burn gym in California. McCormick said she seen with her own eyes that McGregor is not on the level of Mayweather but says the matchup will surely get people to watch simply because it is such a spectacle.

“Because it’s like a bad car wreck. You’re going to watch no matter what, right? With the biggest name in the UFC and the biggest name in boxing, who’s not gonna tune in? Everybody loves Conor, everybody loves Mayweather.”
