VIDEO | UFC 205 Embedded: Intense backstage interactions, weigh-ins, & more

Tonight, fight fans will witness history as they tune in for UFC 205, the UFC’s inaugural event at the Madison Square Garden following the legalization of MMA in New York earlier this year.

The fight card will play host to a trio of marquee title fights, as Conor McGregor looks to make history as he looks to capture the UFC lightweight title and become the first simultaneous two-division UFC champion in his main event scrap with Eddie Alvarez. On the flip side, Alvarez will be looking to deny history and send McGregor back down to the featherweight division as he looks to make his first successful title defense.

In addition, in the co-main event scrap, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will look to make his first successful welterweight title defense when he steps into the Octagon to fight elite striker Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, who hopes to continue his tear of the welterweight division en route to raising the welterweight championship over his head.

The last title fight on the card takes place in the women’s strawweight division, where dominant strawweight Joanna Jedrzejczyk will step into the Octagon to fight fellow Polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

In addition to the trio of title fights, the card will also play host to a number of highly anticipated fights, including Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens, where Edgar will look to return to the win column and start on a path to earning himself another featherweight title shot, and Chris Weidman vs. Yoel Romero, where one man will be crowned the middleweight #1 contender.

In the final installment of ‘UFC 205 Embedded’, cameras captured both the early weigh-ins, as well as the ceremonial weigh-ins. Of course, the cameras also captured the drama which occurred between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, which resulted in the pair getting into a Twitter beef, followed by yet another verbal altercation.
