VIDEO | UFC veteran Gerald Harris forces gruesome arm-break with huge slam

The UFC’s Saturday stop in Gdansk, Poland wasn’t the only MMA action to occur over the weekend. All over the world, other MMA promotions hosted action-packed fight cards of their own.

One of the most entertaining cards to occur over the weekend came courtesy of XFN. This latest XFN card, titled XFN 344 was topped by the retirment fight of UFC veteran Gerald Harris. Harris’ opponent was Matt McKeon.

It was not a good night to be Matt McKeon. In the end, Harris did what he does best, slamming his opponent to the mat, causing a brutal and gruesome snap of his arm. Interestingly, this slam KO followed some trash talk from McKeon, who challenged Harris to slam him as the third round began.

Watch it all go down in the video at the top of this post.

This, of course, is not the first slam-induced stoppage on Harris’ record. At the height of his UFC career, he knocked out current UFC middleweight David Branch with a slam. Harris also picked up a slam KO in his second most recent fight, driving Aaron Cobb into unconsciousness just 43 seconds into the first round.

Harris, the aptly nicknamed “King of the Slam” retires with a fantastic, 24-5 overall record. Over the course of his career, he’s competed in promotions like the UFC, IFC World Series of Fighting, Legacy Fighting Championships, and Tachi Palace Fights.

What did you think of this insanely gruesome stoppage from Gerald Harris?
