Former WWE champion CM Punk made his professional mixed martial arts debut at tonight’s UFC 203 event in Cleveland, Ohio.

Unfortunately for fans of Brooks, the former wrestling superstar was submitted in the very first-round by his opponent Mickey Gall.

Gall secured an early takedown and was able to dominate Punk on the canvas, eventually securing a rear-naked choke which forced Brooks to tapout.
