Guillard vs. Cavalcante Official For July

Recently released UFC lightweight, Melvin ‘The Young Assassin’ Guillard is set to make his WSOF debut in an intriguing  bout against, Strikeforce veteran, Gesias ‘JZ” Cavalcante.

The two lightweights will take part in the WSOF 11 main card.

WSOF 11 is in the works for a yet to be announced July date. The venue and broadcast plans have also yet to be revealed. The main event will feature Nick Newell and Justin Gaethje in a lightweight title fight. Jon Fitch and Jake Shields will meet in the evening’s co-main event.

NBC is rumored to be interested in broadcasting this card on their big station.
