Shields vs. Fitch Official For WSOF 11 Co-Main Event

Two of the world’s top welterweight fighters will collide in the upcoming WSOF 11 co-main event when Jon Fitch and Jake Shields square off in the cage.

Fitch was originally slated to be in the evening’s headliner against Rousimar Palhares prior to his withdrawal from the event. Now, a lightweight title fight between Nick Newell and Justin Gaethje will be the show’s featured attraction.

The event is being targeted for a date in July but specific details are limited at this time.

The bout will server as Jake Shields’ promotional debut.
