Big John McCarthy confirms what Conor McGregor told Jose Aldo after knocking him out
Before Bruce Buffer officially announced the outcome of the short-lived UFC featherweight bout between Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo, McGregor leaned over to Aldo and had a few words for him.
McGregor said in the post-fight press conference that he told Aldo, ‘Look we can go again.’ Big John McCarthy confirmed this with a tweet in his series of #AskBJM questions on Twitter.

Although McGregor does not have any confirmed plans for his next fight, the UFC seems to be pushing a Frankie Edgar match with McGregor if he decides to defend his title at featherweight. If McGregor’s choice is to move up to lightweight, it would likely be a title fight with the winner of the Dos Anjos and Cerrone bout happening this week.
Jose Aldo and his camp want the immediate rematch, and even former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones feels that is the right fight to make, but ultimately the UFC and Conor McGregor have the final say in what happens next for “The Notorious.”
