Cejudo vs. Cariaso Targeted For UFC 185
A flyweight bout between Olympian Henry Cejudo, and Chris Cariaso is being targeted for UFC 185.
Following his successful UFC debut over Dustin Kimura, Henry Cejudo pleaded with UFC President Dana White to allow him to drop back down to flyweight. Despite saying Cejudo would never be allowed to fight at flyweight in the UFC following a botched weight cut, White relented and allowed Cejudo to move down, which brings us to today.
Cariaso on the other hand is coming off a loss to Demetrious Johnson back at UFC 178. The loss snapped a 3-fight win streak for Cariaso. He will be looking to get back in the win column over Cejudo, who despite being a relative newcomer to the UFC, is an elite level fighter.
UFC 185 goes down March 14th, and will be topped off by Anthony Pettis vs. Rafael Dos Anjos.
