Ronda Rousey: ‘I’m The Greatest Fighter In The World’

UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey stated what many might have already said, that she’s the greatest fighter in the world.

Is that everyone’s opinion? No, but it’s hard to argue that someone so dominant and nearly flawless in victory should not at least be considered at the top. She’s not everyone’s cup of tea, fine. Whether it be because she’s a women or because you think her opponents aren’t a certain caliber, whatever it is, fine. But the facts don’t lie. She’s the UFC’s biggest star and a massive one outside of the sport as well.

So when Rousey says, at a recent UFC 193 pre-fight press conference, that she believes she’s in fact the greatest fighter in the world, it’s hard to at least not consider the statement.

“What makes me so confident that I can win is that I’m the greatest fighter in the world. I truly believe it.”
